bachelor movie colorscript

- colorscript for the bachelor film I'm currently working on. Due to some story changes the color keys here do not correspond with all of those from the light script. Some of the inspiration for both the movie as well as colors and light comes from the Danish "skagen painters".

another little sketch have now been removed from my pile on the desk, and taken through illustrator. Added a bit of textures to it, seems to really like that at the moment....

LightScript for Bachelor Project

I am currently working on our light script for our bachelor project. This is a second pass, so still a work in progress.

T-Povl

While making concept - looking for Povl our main fisherman, sometimes your mind wanders....here Povl turned into a dinosaur, and of course I had to take it through illustrator. More to come...

The fisherman who wasn't Povl....

Designing fishermen for our bachelor film. This is based on one of the many sketches I did, I have a tendency for more flat toony stuff, not exactly what we are going for, but I really liked this one so I brought it to illustrator and cleaned it up a bit.

Bachelor Project

So the bachelor projects have been selected, and we have now been working for a couple of weeks. The project I'm a part of has got the working title; "Porcelain". It is a story set in a small fishing community on the west coast of Denmark in the late 19th century.

What I initially found to be the most interesting about this project was the environment, the small and isolated community and the hard rugged life these fishermen led, revolving around the ocean, both the foundation of their entire existence and potentially their ultimate demise.

At the moment we have split into two teams; design and story - so a lot of ideas and sketches are flying around our room.

Ballet Bear

- In a futile attempt to clean up on my desk I discovered, at the bottom a huge pile of papers, this little doodle-sketchy thing, so I decided to take it through illustrator, so here he is Ballet Bear -

Had this little sketch of an astronaut lying around. Made using illustrator with textures added trying to get a "cut-out" look

Summer - over and out

So the summer is over, not that it ever really was here in Denmark but that unfortunately is nothing new. Now my third year and the bachelor projects awaits, hopefully there will be some great pitches tomorrow.
